We operate a paperless office. There are no paper files, no in-trays, and no lost documents. Every document mailed, emailed, faxed or couriered to our office is stored as a PDF image in a clearly indexed electronic file.
Our intuitively structured files can be burned to DVD for the benefit of clients, auditors or in answer to subpoenas. All closed files are kept on our main system making recovery from archive is instantaneous. We backup to three mirror drives daily and store encrypted date stamped copies at three separate remote locations weekly. A full copy of your file can be obtained without charge by emailing us at any time up to eight years after the file has closed.
All communications with our clients are via email. All incoming correspondence and outgoing correspondence is forwarded to our clients so they remain in the loop. We provide remote access to our clients for affidavit drafting. Our billing is evidenced-based (every item on the bill is evidenced by a document) and we provide a fully itemised bills with every invoice.
Bransgroves Lawyers use a custom-built Sequel database in order to track all our clients matters and to balance the load between our fee-earners. The database tracks court dates and also manages work flow in relation to critical litigation milestones. Our institutional clients are able to track multiple matters by logging in via our web portal.
